Abrasives
There can be no doubt that Glass Beads are the world's most popular air blasting media for cleaning and conditioning surfaces. The unique characteristic of glass sphere blasting surfaces are cleaned, deburred, decorated, and "cold worked," without etching or removal of basic surface material and without imparting ferrous or other undesirable residues. In addition, the inherent strength of a glass sphere is such that it can provide multiple impacts, allowing for economies of continuous recycling. STEEL SHOT AND GRIT

Steel abrasive is for use in pressure blast systems only. Steel shot can be used for peening well as cleaning. Both steel shot and grit can be used for cleaning castings, forgings, heat treated material and heavy rust or scale.

WALNUT SHELLS
Walnut Shells can be used to clean metals, alloys and plastics without scratching or pitting the surface. Blasting with Walnut Shells can eliminate hand scraping, brushing or grinding. Walnut Shells are most often used to deflash plastic parts. They can also be used to deburr metal parts, clean molds and polish metal surfaces.
